Appointments and cancellations

To allow for social distancing all clients are asked to arrive only 5 minutes prior to your appointment.

We reserve the right to cancel or postpone a consultation or treatment, if you present with what appears to be COVID 19 symptoms.

The clinic will operate a controlled entry system to manage the number of people entering our clinics. We will also need to limit the numbers in our waiting area.

If the clinic reaches the maximum capacity to allow social distancing, you may be asked to wait in your car until your practitioner is ready.

To reduce the contact time with your practitioner we ask that you are prepared for your treatment:

You will be asked to comply with our COVID health and safety protocol, which includes wearing a mask (which will be provided on arrival) and sanitising your hands on arrival.

To help us provide a COVID safe environment and allow social distancing we request that you attend the clinic on your own.  If you require another adult to be present, this must be agreed in advance with the Clinic Manager.

Face Treatments: All make-up removed prior to treatment

Laser hair removal: Area shaved and hair removed prior to treatment

Cancellations / Late arrivals – You are required to give us at least 24 hours notice if you wish to cancel or change your appointment, otherwise a cancellation fee will apply. Late arrivals will be charged for the full price of the treatment booked and completed according to time originally booked. We will however try our best to ensure you receive your full treatment.

All therapists at SL Laser and Skin are trained and approved in accordance with the company’s treatment protocols and therefore does not guarantee continued treatment with the same therapist.

Prior to your appointment we will inform you of any preparation required in advance of your treatment. Failure to follow the guide lines may result in cancellation of your appointment, reduced treatment time, or additional fees being charged

Patch test 24 hours before treatment is required for all laser treatments. 

Courses of treatments

All treatments purchased as a course must be paid for in full in advance by their second treatment. All treatment courses must be taken within 12 months of the date of purchase; any treatments left untaken after 12 months will be forfeited.

Treatment may only refundable for medical reasons. Any refund agreed is calculated by deducting the full list price of all treatments already taken, plus any charged for non-attendance, from the total price of the course of treatment, with the difference returned to you.

All pre-paid treatment packages impacted by COVID-19 will be extended by the period of time impacted. 

SL Laser & Skin offer the option of paying by Interest Free Credit and spreading the cost of your purchases over the first 2 to 4 treatments of your course depending on its value.

We do not require credit checks as payments are made in such a way that the course will be paid in full by halfway of your course.

APPLICATION CRITERIA

In order to qualify for Interest Free Credit, you must.

  • Be 18 or older.
  • Be a UK resident (minimum of 12 months).
  • Understand that Courses are non-exchangeable and non-refundable.

Course Value Up to £300

2 payments spread over the first 2 sessions.

Course Value £300 – £800

3 Payments spread over the first 3 sessions.

Course value £800 +

4 payments spread over the first 4 sessions.

Tips can no longer be taken on card

Minimum Card Payment is now £10.00 

Liability

SL Laser & Skin Clinic will not be liable in contract, tort or otherwise for any economic loss (including, without limitation, loss of profit), or for any other special, indirect or consequential loss or damage arising out of, or in connection with, its provision of any goods and/or services to the client.

Clients will be required to read and sign the COVID-19 risk consent form prior to treatment.

It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that he or she provide us with all relevant medical details prior to each treatment. We will not be liable for any damage that occurs as a result of the client’s failure to disclose such details.

Complaints

Complaints of a non-medical nature will be handled in their entirety by the Clinic Manager.

If your complaint is treatment related the matter will be discussed with the relevant practitioner and may require you to attend an additional consultation with that practitioner or an alternative member of the clinic’s team. 

The objective of this is to provide an explanation or a solution to your concerns.

Treatments are only refunded for medical reasons. We have a no refund policy.

Offers

Available to existing and new clients.

Offers are non-transferable and cannot be substituted by the client for any other products cash alternative or other treatment.

Booking for a consultation must be made by an adult over 18.

Offer is available to new and existing clients.

Proof of purchase and ID will be required when redeeming in clinic.

Laser hair removal treatment is only available to clients aged 18 years and over.

Laser hair removal is not suitable for pregnant women.

New clients that have not previously had laser hair removal treatments will require a consultation and test patch prior to treatment to check suitability.
